What would Asuran replace me with?

My Eris is acting up now, can't scroll left on the track ball, and when charged it scrolls left repeatidly. My 2 year contract ends in July, and the Inc2 comes out soon. I was wondering, if I use Asuron, what would they replace my Eris with now? Another Eris or maybe an Inc1?

they wouldnt replace it with anything...... thats insurance for if your phone is lost/stolen/damaged/etc..... they dont replace phones for warranty issues

now if your phone was "accidentally" lost then they would replace it with whatever they are substituting for the Eris right now....... last I heard it was the Inc1.... but who knows.... it depends on what they have on the shelf at the time

Perfect, it's doing this because I accidently ripped the charging cable out at an angle breaking it. Just not sure if I wanna spend $50 to get an Inc1, or use that 50 towards an Inc2 at the end of the week, but renewing my 2 year contract early ;/

Well I spoke to Asurion, and they told me they had Eris's in stock, and that it would be $89 to replace it... ;( Guess I'm gonna have to fork over $300 for the Incredible 2 when it comes out Thursday.

My two year contract ends in July, anyone know if I could call and get them to move that date to May? And how much would that get me towards the purchase of the Inc 2?

If you are twenty months into a two year contract, you can upgrade the contract at discount prices, and should get one last "new every two" discount. I think NE2 is an extra $50, though don't hold me to that. You should be able to find out for sure by logging in at verizonwireless.com.
