What would you do with root access?

Just as it says. What would you do with root access? What would you use with escalated priviledges? What apps would you use? What would you customize? Some other people may be able to give suggestions on non root variations of what you want to do.

I know my number one app is xposed in my case. Whats yours?

Probably (completely) remove / uninstall some of the default apps first. Then make a custom ROM next.

ZTE did nice job on this phone by not putting their own manufacturer apps like LG and Samsung did. The only crap-wares included are Metro PCS apps and most of them can be disabled. But still.. if I can completely remove and save some internal space why not :)

For me root is like having the pink slip to your car... And the current situation feels like im renting a car lol.

I'd use Wifi Tether Router and attempt to find the best settings for Unlimited Tethering. I would also install Xposed whenever our recovery is available.

Don't forget UnbelovedHosts and YouTubeAdaway
Not sure what the first is but you're right, forgot about skipping YT ads. There's that and a few other Xposed modules I like to use (crappalinks, force new process) but I'd do without Xposed if I had to.

UnbelovedHosts blocks a ton of websites that show advertisements and blocks a ton of malware websites.

Just unbricked my LG G2 and I got CM 13 on it with all of the modules listed. RootCloak is also a really good module.

Does UnbelovedHosts block anything extra that AdAway doesn't? I tried RootCloak on my old Note 2 so that I could use Android Pay but no matter how many hoops I jumped through I could never get it to work right so I gave up.

It mostly blocks malware and it will NEVER work on Android pay.

Xposed.. (gravity box, xstana, force immersion, YouTube Adaway, etc), Titanium Backup to save those hard earned game datas.. And get the bloat out.. And of course.. Twrp.. To get team blackout versions of apps and backup the whole phone

Until we do get root the.. I SUGGEST.. Adguard..Status.. New Pipe.. Leaf pic.. Bass Booster.. Greenery.. SD Maid.. Center.. Hermit.. Soundhud.. Startup manager.. And of course Nova Launcher Prime.. These should soften the blow

The Answer To This Question Is Easy..

I'd Be Watching The News... 24/7

Because if this device had Admin/Root Access that would mean "HELL HAS FROZEN OVER"

People forget.. ZTE employees have jobs they want to keep as well. The way the original Zmax was so brutally violated to obtain Admin Access put employees jobs on the line.

They were told to NOT let this happen with the Zmax Pro.. And they did.. I told you all this a month ago.. but no one wanted to listen.. and I was labeled "counter-productive" for simply stating a truth I already knew.

Now.. All of you see it.. ZTE will never allow this device to have Admin Access..
But since we are just wishing and dreaming.... I would adjust DPI down about 5%.. that's about it.. I've stayed on BO8.. and have tweaked it to be incredibly fast and BO8 for me has been 100% stable.
