What would YOU do?

So my VZW account has been opened a long time, it has 4 #s on it and a high average bill which lets me get away with more than the usual account.

I had a few TBs and got a free Bionic.

The Bionic is very fast but the BSOD is annoying as hell.

I'll make this short and sweet.

If you would get a Razr for free by trading the Bionic in, don't care about the battery being enclosed, do you?

I also LOVE HTC and Sense, do I wait for the Vigor? Not much has been announced yet is a major downfall too.

I have a few days before the Razr goes on pre-order so I'll continue to look at this thread for pros and cons of everyones opinion. Thanks!

How can anyone sensibly comment on a phone that hasn't hit the market yet?? How does anyone know how reliable it will be, as compared to the Bionic? IMO, you are asking for useless speculation at this point in time.

If you are attracted to the Razr specs and think you will see it in the next six months ... trade in the Bionic. When the Razr comes out, compare the Razr and Bionic side-by-side and pich the one you like best.

There is no way to predict which you will choose.

I think it comes down to how long it takes to get the Vigor on the market and its all a game til then.

I'm looking for a reliable phone that won't error or freeze randomly and don't know if trading the bionic in for a razr will be what I want.

Its like I'm a kid in a candy store with money to buy anything but can't figure out what I want.

In this case you are a kid in a candy store comparing a piece of candy to the picture of a different piece of candy.

If cost is an issue ... wait until you have two pieces of candy to compare.

The Bionic is a great machine. I do not have problems with it. Some (number unknown) others have problems.

He's not asking what *he* should do.

He's asking what would you do in his shoes.

IOW, if you were him and in his situation, would you buy the RAZR, wait for the Vigor, or what?

V, if I were you - I'd get the Galaxy Nexus instead. Vanilla Android, ICS, and being able to change ROMs, kernels, etc, anytime you wanted - that would be the deal maker for me. However, your post says only the RAZR for free via trade - well, since the hardware is pretty much the same and you cannot remove the battery, I'm guessing that you;ll have most of the same issues on that phone as this phone - or else if you don't, those same fixes that are on that phone will be released to this phone at around the same time.

As for waiting for the Vigor - that's up to you, since you don't mention if it is also a free phone via swap.

Get that is almost me. I only manage 3 family numbers. But to answer your question I like my Bionic. It only crashed once when it was being setup. But I may get a Razr. Don't be startled. It will be for my better half. Then we will have one iPhone, one. BIONIC and a Razr.

I will keep my bionic but i will be getting the rezound anyway when i can off cl or classifieds here. Im not stoked About the razrs battery or no sd on the nexus.

I could not have said it better. Nexus all the way.

I would keep the bionic and wait for the DROID HD or whatever moto comes out with ICS as the default OS. The razr isnt worth the fight to me haha.

I feel like i am in the same boat. I just received my Bionic 4days ago. I am on a business account and our Rep came in with the new Handsets. So far i really like this phone and it is a huge upgrade coming from the ERIS. I am having that 4g down to 3g and then loss of data issue. It has happened a few times and im not sure if its a Bionic issue or a Verizon issue.

Anyhow I have 10 days left until i am stuck with this phone for 2 yrs. After having the Eris for that long i know just how long that can be and having the right phone is crucial. I have looked at the RAZR and it does seem like a great phone (except the non-removable battery) and i just dont have a clue what to do. Part of me feels like the Razr is going to be the best bet, but what if its not? I just need a fast reliable phone that is actually going to maintain its data connection especially when i live in a city that is completely 4g.

What to do, What to do?

I dont know...

If you already have a Bionic I've heard the upcoming big update fixes alot of things and just makes the phone better.

For me it would be between the Prime and RAZR. Have you seen the live demo of ICS? The demo alone is making me want the Prime...lol.
