What You Don't Like About Samsung Galaxy 10.1

I started a thread in the Nexus 10 to find out what people didn't like about it. Well, everyone was pretty well pleased. I would have bought that device until I found it did not have an ext sd card. The scuttlebutt said the manufacturer's comment was the ext sd card was "too complex" for the users. This seemed a little IPADish to me so I'm now looking at the Galaxy 10.1 noting I have not given up on the Nexus 10 yet. I just think I have to do some more looking.

So generally we see a lot of what we like about a device so what do owners of the Galaxy 10.1 not like about the device??? I'm anxious to hear you comments.

Thank You.

Can you use NetFlix on Galaxy 10.1?? I heard some some it is not available on this tablet. Is this true or not? Hopefully one of you is using NetFlix.

What version of OS are you using??? 3.xx? 4.0? 4.1? 4.2?
Would some of you look up your Android Version to see what you are running? I think you go into Setting and then go under About. You should see your version there. Please post what you are running. If you see someone has already posted a higher version, then you don't have to post. Thank you for your help.

I no longer have my Galaxy Tab 10.1 (GT-P7510), but when I did, it ran Netflix just fine.

Not sure we're talking about the same tablet. The Note 10.1, Tab 2 and Tab 7.7 have all been updated to Jellybean, but I don't believe the GT-P7510 has. It is still running 4.0, ICS.

+1

Also, the original Galaxy Tab 10.1 (Wi-Fi version) does not have expandable memory....No SD slot....

Sherri, I just checked on Amazon to make sure we are talking the same thing. The model number it gives is GT-P5113TSYXAR. It has 16GB with wifi and capability of 32ext memory. Embarrassingly since I asked for versions earlier, it says it comes with 4.1.2. I think the Note is considerably higher and that is why I'm looking into this version. This seems to be what Bill bought very recently.

Has the GT-P7510 been replaced with the GT-P5113 with added capability?? I'm asking to make sure I buy the right thing.

Yes, the GT-P5113 is the Galaxy 2, which replaced my older model. Like mine (GT-P7510), this one is Wi-Fi only, but your tab does have expandable memory, and comes stock with JB.

I have not discovered how to edit features such as 'playlists' and so forth. Now my tab is really becoming a mess. Also I cannot access Utube downloads unless I use Utube. It would be nice if future apps had a means of quitting w/o using Task Manager.
