According to my local metro pcs representative the sg 3 will be the first new phone in the upcoming lineup. He also says the sg3 will have a 4.3 inch screen...I take that to mean the sg3 will be watered down

The iphone 4s debuted at $900. Same with the note and gs2. If you look around you can find them all for under $500. But again we're talking about obsolete models that have been out almost a year versus a state of the art phone that will not have been out 6 months yet. You might be able to get it sub $600 off amazon or wirefly, etc. but I doubt even that.
If the s3 comes to metro for $479 its gonna be a GS2.5.
man... i wish i could learn more about the Samsung Galaxy s lightray 4G or more about the LG Motion 4G. any chance you could share or shade more light on both devices? how much ram or what's the processer, and while we know the motion 4g has ics but what platform is the lightray?

Don't quote me but the lightray will have similar specs like the esteem 512 ram 1ghz processor like 8mb internal

The Lightray is looking amazing, except 2.3...really?? COME ON!! These are ICS days now. The only things is the buttons - I've come to really dislike actual buttons and not touch ones.
The Motion is looking okay -- a Connect upgrade like Attain was with Indulge?
I really want to see what the S3 will be as far as features. I hate the wait so it's a tough choice really because it might be a piecea.... but who knows with MetroPCS.

Rumor says the Lightray will have 8, but one report says 5. I don't have links, but the 8 was on AndroidNerds and 5 I think on PhoneArena
The Galaxy S Lightray and the S3 have them.
It says the lightray has an 8 megapixel camera in it's thread.
