What's for dinner ?

I ordered a pizza tonight and it was one of the best pies I've had in years. I ordered from a local pizza establishment that's been here since 1969. Keep in mind it has weathered the presence of Pizza Hut, Pappa Johns, Pappa Murphy's, Dominos, Godfather's and likely more establishments though the years. I can't say now why I quit buying from this local pizza shop decades ago. I received a well made pizza that was perfectly balanced in meats, spices, cheese, and sauce at a cheaper price than what I've been paying for a lack luster thrown together pizza from the chain outlets.
 
We had taco salad for dinner. We used prepackaged garden salad mix, a can of petite diced tomatoes drained, a can of dark kidney beans drained, a pound of browned ground beef with chili seasoning and diced onions, shredded cheddar cheese, and slightly crushed nacho cheese doritos. Favorite salsa for the salad dressing and dig in.
 
I am the human disposal at the olbriar ranch. If I can make it into something or have it a second time then count me in. I do not waste food. I finished off the taco salad from last night for dinner.
 
By myself tonight, so I went with Marco's. I ordered their thin crust specialty deluxe pizza, no mushrooms, add Spicy Sausage and Jalapenos. Also grabbed a salad to make crispy chicken salads tomorrow.
 
Before you start gagging or holler out "don't eat the fish bait" I'd like to say that you have never eaten perfectly prepared chicken livers. Chicken fried chicken livers, mashed potatoes, and gravy will be my dinner tonight.
I was not though. I had them before. They are delicious.

Tonight for dinner, I do not know what my mother has going on in her mind.

Nothing wrong with chicken livers. I'm not partial to the texture of them. Now show me a plate of chicken gizzards, I'm all in. Little place not far from me has them available on Tuesdays, until they're sold out.

My wife is the gizzard eater of the family. We had four children and they all hated both livers and gizzards. Maybe it's an acquired taste that I acquired vs going without when growing up. :) I'll be eating livers again tonight. I always fix twice the amount for a meal when frying because I like them cold the second night as well as hot the first night.
Burgers sound good!
