True to our intentions, the leftover snacks was dinner tonight. To make up for the just snacking two days in a row, we are baking a Marie Callender's pecan pie and having some Breyers vanilla ice cream. I just hate that! 🤣

Shrimp tacos all of us ate pretty early yay, no upset stomach!
I thawed out a vac pack of pulled pork. My wife used some of it in a broccoli and cauliflower rice thing of some sort and I took the remainder and made a pulled pork deluxe burrito.
I believe that I'll get the last of the Boss Lady's homemade spaghetti today.

Another pizza night, maybe chicken garlic tonight.
Last night I fixed chicken fried pork cutlets, baked potatoes, and green beans.
Tonight we will be having our traditional New Year Day meal. Fried salmon cakes, black eyed peas, and cornbread. Lucky me, it's one of my all time favorite meals.

I'm in charge of cooking for a while as the Boss Lady heals up.
Today, for New Years, we'll be having pork loin, black eyed peas and mixed greens.
I'm not gonna try to find any cracklings for cornbread. Last year the Boss Lady just took some packaged pork chicaroons which didn't work out so well.

Yesterdays feast, left overs today. Wifey says I will move to the garage if I eat anymore cabbage ...
I'm having leftovers and the wife is moving on. She is no fan of salmon cakes. She dislikes black eyed peas, and detests cornbread. She gave it the ole "I'll eat a little" effort last night and didn't complain about the meal. She once enjoyed the meal but as time has passed, her taste likes and dislikes have changed. I, on the other hand, still love just about everything and am particularly fond of our traditional New Years day meal.
