I tried to scale down this old A&W recipe for their bbq beef sandwich that was a favorite of my childhood. I have something in the neighborhood concocted and will warm it up for dinner.
Recipe:
A&W BBQ SANDWICHES
4 cups Beef roast or round steak, cooked and shredded
SAUCE
1 cup apple butter
1 cup Catalina dressing
1/4 cup Heinz 57 sauce
1 cup Heinz ketchup
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
8 soft hamburger buns

I don't want to gross anyone out but tonight I'm frying breaded chicken livers. I will fix some mashed potatoes and gravy and some whole kernel corn to fill out the meal.

Pizza at my sister's house tonight..
There is only two things wrong with this meal. I have a tendency to make a mess in the kitchen and then I eat entirely too much.
One of my favorite meals!!!We had some Dixiecrats tonight.

Shrimp salad a la' Ot :
I'm just snacking tonight. I have a few chicken livers left over and love them cold. I will fix some guacamole and have a few chips and dip.
Pan seared chicken, rice, and green beans.
My wife use to make a shrimp salad now and then. She used the baby shrimp and white rice. It had diced bell pepper and lemon pepper and I don't know what else.
It was good. Your salad looks good. I don't get shrimp salad any more because the wife refuses to eat white rice these days.
