Smoked Bison rib roast and baked potatoes.
Not traditional Easter faire, the Boss Lady and my youngest daughter along with her daughter went out shopping.
Like what do you need bad enough to have to go out on Easter.
So instead of having the planned ham and fixings; we had some fried chicken, taters and gravy, Cole slaw and mac and cheese.
It was good. Still hot and actually tasted fresh. But it wasn't the ham and the rest that I was anticipating.

Chicken dinner always sound good to me but I far prefer to cook my own. But, oh man that ham dinner sounds so dang good. My wife is no fan of pork so baking a ham is a rare thing around these parts. One of my favorite meals was baked ham and scalloped taters. It's likely been over a decade since I last enjoyed the meal.
