Are you talking about the Google Sound Search widget? If not, try that. It works for me on an N5.

Yeah - that's the widget - if its working for you, I'll try reinstalling it

Interesting. Had not had the chance to use the "OK Google" - "What's the song" feature until today. And after 4 different attempts, with two different songs, Google Now could not recognize either.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

I reinstalled the widget and it works fine. It recognizes every song I try.....um, but they're all Katy Perry...
