I've been having a real battle trying to get a large quantity of .pdf files across from my PC to the Galaxy S.
I've tried wired with Kies, wired through windows explorer (My Computer), I've tried wireless using Android Manager and Droid PhoneControl. Yet time and time again either the SGS or my external SD card can't handle the transfer.
The files all transfer across and look normal until you go to open them. I get the message with ThinkFree PDF Viewer that "Error opening file. It appears to be damaged." With PDF to Go, "I get Error opening file. It may not be a valid PDF file". The files are genuine pdf files and sometimes about 5% of them are viewable after transfer on the phone but it's just so hit and miss.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to either why this is or what can be done to overcome this and transfer large numbers of pdf files across quickly?
