Root whats the easiest way to wifi tether? i just rooted

i just rooted but cant seem to understand how to wifi tether, i pointed my phone to Downloads - android-wifi-tether - Project Hosting on Google Code
but when i downloaded it and started tethering it wouldnt let me online said nat rules failed

I use DroidMod (Sholes) rom tether app. Works best for me in bluetooth mode.

You need a ROM that supports wifi tethering... idt you can use the app with just a stock rooted droid

i installed the sholes 2.0.6 rom and its working now thanks guys
i dont see too much of a difference from pdanet but at least i dont have to carry around the usb cable
