Whats The Most EXPENSIVE App You've Seen

What is the most expensive app you' ve found in GooglePAY and would you even pay that much for an app? Do you think the app is worth the price?

Here's MY contribution and my aswer is "NO" and "NO". I am curious to see if anyone can beat MY BID!!!!

In perusing the L-3 Annual Report, there is a shot of an Android phone running an application designed to work with the government's drone program. Primarily, those flying all over the Middle East. I believe it is a drone tracking application to alert certain people about drone strikes.

Or Angry Drones from Rovio.

Apparently, Google reports that Apple turned down the application. For whatever reason.

Perhaps Apple can develop radiation hardened iPhones and iPads for the government?

OR PERHAPS THEY HAVE ALREADY . . .

My guess that is a costly Android program.

My guess is you CAN'T DL it from the market.

My guess the NSA is watching me because this post went through the new Data Center. Perhaps that knocking on my door is THEM. Naw, they are

So what your saying is essentially nothing as it doesn't meet the op's post stating that it is available from Google Play... Nice :thumb: Bob.

Apple spent the money on this:

IFA: Apple's iPhone Tracking In iOS 6 - Business Insider

Even if they are selling to advertisers - the outcry from marketing about !E 10 automatically enabling "do not track" has led to comments that those of us who don't look at ads or think the products are junk and the ads stupid are "UN-AMERICAN"

What's the most expensive ya'll have bought?
Groundspeak's Geocaching app at $9.99, but I bought it twice... Once on iOS before I thought I would ever be able to afford an Android (I was given someone's reject of an iPhone) and then 3 months later when I found the Optimus V. So the most expensive app I've purchased was $19.98.

And if TomTom's GPS app is usable with 0 data connection (it totally should be, the entire US and Canada map for my One fits on a 1gb SD card with room to spare) and has map updates for free I'd totally spend the $50 for it (I've not read anything about it yet). I have a TomTom One and love it, I just hate having to remember to bring it inside once every couple weeks to get the GPS fix and map corrections.

My guess is any app adopted or designed for govt/military could be SO over-priced and probably not available in Google Play anyway. Your post remind me of what DELL did with the Dell Streak. One week they posted a BIG announcement about some upgrades and operating of the Dell Streak, then a week later the Streak was YANKED from circulation in the U.S. Next thing Ive read online is military chose the Dell Streak for some unpublished reasons alonv with specific apps and gps tools.

My guess is there may be some way overpriced apps but unavailable to us minions.

Back to Dell......but WHY would they still sell and support the Streak in alo other countries? (Why dont they MOVE their hdqtrs overseas if they hate is that much....moops that should hve been posted in RANTS!)

Strange thing occurred this morning on my device. I have my browser's home page set to simple google.com

The phone was sitting on my desk and out of nowhere, loaded a site bhqd or bhqb (.com)
Ive separated the url in this post so it wont create a clickable link.

I have no idea what the site is or how it loaded up. So I thought....why not give an anti virus app a quickie run
and installed Dr. Web Anti Virus (Trial) from "Android Market".

Was shocked at the " paid " version $75!.....but why so much?
