What's the weather like where you are?

It is warming up today. It is currently 41° and might warm up a bit more. However, the wind is ripping from the South with warnings blowing up my phone. So far I've logged a 51.4 mph gust. The wife and I were low on tea so we ran to our outlet, The Spice Merchant, and purchased tea. We then ran to Costco to order my new glasses. The wind was vicious and absolutely cut right through us. With the wind chill it feels like the temp is in the twenties. It's a miserable day to be outside even though though the sun is shining and the temperature is in the low forties.

There is a 50% chance or snow or freezing rain tomorrow and again next Tuesday. The ten day forecast has nothing but cold predicted next week with the mid week high of eight degrees. I'm ready to move onto some better weather.

The last snow was on the ground when I went to bed last night but gone this morning. It was forty three degrees at midnight but the temperature has slowly dropped through the night. It is now thirty six with a stiff North wind. Snow is still in the forecast for this afternoon with little to only a trace accumulation predicted. It could just completely miss us without upsetting me.

It's now 27° and sleeting. I just took a serious look at the weather forecast for next week. It is to be extremely cold for this area. Three days in a row the low is forecasted to be in the negative double digits and the highs getting into the single positive digit range. I'm glad that I no longer have any outside pets. I'm concerned about the wellhouse at the cabin and my own plumbing here at my home. That is a long duration to be that cold. There will be failures. I hope everyone takes care of their pets!

We're several hours south and, all night and into the morning daylight, we had power hits, one after the other. Bam, bam, bam! It's a blessing we have a whole house surge protector and all our electronics on UPS. No loss of life like our friends to the north, but still a rough night and day.

From high winds and thunderstorms to 2-4" of snowfall Tuesday night and Wednesday! It's definitely Tennessee weather...

I live in Kansas... far from the flooding. I am truly sorry for the property damage and especially sorry about the loss of life. I can't imagine how much time it will take for Kentucky commerce to resume. Talk about a mess.....

The eight inches of snow predicted is looking less possible all of the time. I've never known a large snowfall here when it is super cold. Our big accumulating snows happen when the temperature is around the freezing mark. I don't know which is worse, deep snow or super cold.
Currently it is 2.7 degrees with a NNE wind at 23.9 mph making it feel like minus 20.4 degrees.
There is a light dusting of snow on the ground and it is snowing very tiny flakes of snow.

Weird weather... apparently the "line" for us tomorrow is around 15 miles to the north of us. North of that is expected to get 2-3" of snow, while we're expected to get 1/2 - 1". If that line moves just a little bit south, we'll get a lot more snow. Nevertheless, I have my snow thrower battery charged up. Still, we're looking at a good 90 hours of below-freezing temperatures before we start thawing out Saturday!

My temperature is no longer two degrees. It is now one degree. Yikes, I'm running out of degrees! :) It is currently snowing harder than I thought possible with it being so cold. I would consider it close to blizzard or white out conditions.

It's still snowing and they are closing some roads. They have closed the turnpike / I-35 between Wichita and Emporia. The toll portion of I-35 is rarely closed having it's own road maintenance. It's that crummy out there.

My official snowfall was 7.6" I've not been outside since the snow began. Something about double digit windchill intimidates me. It was zero degrees when I went to bed last night and one degree this morning. The temperature never fell into the negative but is predicted to do so tonight and early AM tomorrow at a low of -9°. Currently it is 4° but feel like -17° with a North wind in the double digits.

I'm gonna guess that you don't have any snow chains for your E-bike, OB?

It's 41 and light rain here.
I don't. I have found that the fat tires act very goofy on a slick surface. I've not tried to reduce the tire pressure but that must be the work-a-round. I've seen videos of guys riding fat tire e-bikes in the snow. Not my thing being as my blood is so thinned that I'd bleed out if I had an accident.

I did enjoy the heat wave with the 7° temp and the negative double digit windchill earlier. I brought my dumpsters back to the house after being emptied and while I was enjoying the weather shoveled off my porch, walk, and drive off. One has to take advantage of great weather when it presents itself. :) I told the wife when I got back into the house that I hoped like hell it was the last snow requiring shoveling for this year. I'm tired of it.

It's cold this morning. A few weeks ago i Was somewhere and the temperature hit 1 degree, pretty certain that it had dropped below zero

It hit -6° here over night. It has warmed up to 1° now. There is a double digit wind from the North that makes it feel like it is negative twenty or so. The sun is shining and if not for the snow cover, it looks warm. It's NOT.
