What's the weather like where you are?

It turned into a beautiful day yesterday. Mid seventies with no wind to speak of. Late last night and through the early morning hours it rained again. My station logged just over an inch but I see other local stations averaged logging 1.15" Currently it is 69° with a 25% chance of additional rain through the afternoon.

80's here with humidity increasing quite significantly from just a few days a day. Of course it did, because I just had 8 yards of dirt dumped in my driveway that I have to get in my backyard before the 4 yards of leaf compost comes tomorrow. I'm gonna be sweatin' like a whore in church, but it will be one hell of a workout.

I hope your dirt move goes well treb. The humidity was high here today following the over night rain. It warmed into the low eighties and there wasn't much air moving. It was idea riding weather but would have been no fun working outside. It's supposed to rain again come early morning. The projected radar shows it can't miss dumping more rain here. At least I have all the lawns, including mine, mowed for the week.

Wife, who ignored pretty much everything I said for this project, bought 8 yards when I told her at the most we need is 5. Now we have a butt load left over that I have no idea what to do with.
She called the dirt people first thing this morning to get our leaf compost cut in half from 4 yards to 2.

I need some dirt for my front yard. A tree that was jacked and the stump ground has left a low spot. I toss a bag of top soil at it every now and then. The grass manages to grow up through it. It needs a yard.. maybe two but I don't want to kill the grass.

I got about 3 yards worth just sitting in my backyard now covered with a tarp. No idea what we're going to do with it. If you weren't so far away I'd say come get what you want ;)

Too much dirt is as big a problem as needing dirt. Wish I could take you up on your offer. I've got a stack of around 500 bricks I need to get rid of. Maybe we can make a trade. :)

The day has started out in the low seventies and the mid to high eighties is expected this afternoon. However, there is a slight chance of rain mid afternoon through early evening. Currently it is 72° with a WNW wind at 3.4mph. It's a beautiful day.

Humidity feels way more than what it says...

It's going to be a bit breezy today with winds in the double digits from the North. It's odd to experience North winds here this time of year. It's typically the winter wind direction. Mid eighties is the forecasted high and it's currently 66°.

Another nice day is in the making. It is now 67° with a clear sky and no wind. Low nineties with a slight South wind is predicted for this afternoon. My kind of weather!

It warmed into the mid eighties today but it was a bit windy. The wind was out of the South in the mid teens and I logged a 30mph gust here at my station. It's is supposed to be around ten degrees cooler tomorrow.

It was lightly raining when I got up this morning. There is some rain clouds passing through that are widely scattered. I managed to be under one that dropped .08" before moving on. There is zero wind and the temperature is 68°. The rain was unpredicted and certainly unexpected and has blown my mow schedule.

I awoke to the sound of thunder. There was a slight chance of rain in the AM forecasted. I'm not sure that a slight chance is almost three inches of rain but that's the way it turned out. The weather front moved out and left a nice afternoon to be enjoyed. It reached the mid eighties for a high and zero wind.

My slight chance of rain woke me up early this morning as It dropped over two inches and the wind downed trees and lots of branches. I spent the morning cutting up a huge branch that came out of my tree and was in my neighbor's back yard. It was a miserable soup that I mowed this afternoon and I left a couple lawns unmowed for fear of getting my mower stuck in the yards. It started raining again around six pm and dropped another inch of rain. A glance at the radar shows that there is more rain headed this way.
Low area flooding and flash flooding has been and remains a problem here.
It was just a couple of weeks ago that everyone was complaining about the ponds and such going dry.

The beginning of the next front just rolled through dropping another half inch. It looks like another couple of hours or so for what is showing on the radar to pass through. I hope nothing develops behind it! My station is showing 3.53 inches so far today.

It appears that the rain has moved out of the area. Almost another inch has fallen since my last edit. I'm showing 4.52 inches for the day. Over the weekend, I moved my measuring array out from under the huge Oak tree to my North. My rain measurements are more reflective of the true amounts now. Checking the nearby stations, we are all showing the same incredible daily rainfall. That's a lot of rain for the flatlands of Kansas.

Rain over night here, about in its 80s today, a perfect day to window wash from the dust storm we had.

The forecast is partly cloudy this AM and then full sunshine this afternoon. NO rain... we shall see. After yesterday we need a break. I logged 4.54 inches for the day and my buddy ten miles or so North of me 5.15 inches. I'm showing 12.29 inch so far for the month. To an area that averages around 30 inches a year.. that's a lot of rain in a short span of time.

It was 77° at seven this morning. It warmed into the upper nineties and has dropped a couple of degrees since. It's now 94° with 49% humidity. The wind is out of the South at 17 mph. It's basically uncomfortable out.
