Yay! Just had a good storm. I gave it a 9. Hail, good thunder and lightening, not too much wind, brief power blip. That was round 2, 1 was not great. A third line is heading in. I do love a storm (as long as there is no damage).

It's smoky here in Metro Vancouver due to various wildfires throughout the province. A number of communities throughout western Canada is experiencing this. The warm and dry conditions make it easy for these fire to start and hard to contain. I feels like smoke outside.

We have smoke here in the Twin Cities in MN from those fires, too. I was shocked that's what was causing the haziness today!

We are still having air quality alerts. My wife's uncle has a respiratory illness. He was unable to stay in his apartment due to the air quality issues.

Air quality in the Twin Cities seemed back to normal today. I really feel for the people who are dealing with that for days on end. I hope they get those fires out soon so everyone can breathe clean air again!
