What's the weather like where you are?

Oh joy.

Nope. We ended up with the proverbial "storm of the century". All talk and no weather.

It stayed mostly above freezing here and what snow fell was wet and slushy. It stopped here around 3:00 p.m. and we MAYBE had 3 inches on the grass and barely an inch on the roads/driveways/sidewalks.

I can't wait to hear the weatheridiots backpedal on this one. The worst part was the frikkin' governor declared a state of emergency for us last night which meant all commercial vehicles were restricted and we couldn't get our trucks out this morning.

No thunder-snow, drat! Still snowing like crazy, just shoveled and will do it again later and have some to wake up to probably. It's heavy and wet so easier to do in batches.

On a positive note, I asked my neighbor what she did for Bob, my (our) driveway plower who won't be hired. I'm going to get him a huge bottle of Captain Morgan Black rum. Blech.

I was a snow(wo)man last night! I was covered in snow when I came in, it was really coming down.

I got the driveway, car, walks and roof all cleaned up before going to bed...there's another 6" on everything this morning. GRRR. We did get a foot total, it's still snowing but lightly, so I'll be back at it today. The birds were having a fit, the feeders were all covered, I at least fixed those already and they are happy.

They totally *****ed the pooch with our forecast. Tuesday night they put us in the bullseye for 8" to 12" with some areas getting 16" ... and wind, not as bad as last Friday's wind but still expect up to 50 m.p.h. gusts. Gov. declared a state of emergency, schools and businesses closed, shelves were cleared of bread eggs and milk ... and i made sure i had plenty of gas on hand for the snow blower.

We got this:

And I'm over here with literally no snow, we had barely any this season! 😤
