What's the weather like where you are?

It has been wet and boggy and this morning foggy. Collectively, over the last couple of days, less than a half inch has fallen here. It seems like more than that. There hasn't been a dry moment. Currently it is 48° with no wind and 99% humidity. The forecast has a sunny day ahead with it getting into the mid fifties for a high.

Yesterday, it was nice with a high of 51° and no wind. Today is to be similar but windy from the South with cloud cover. It will be the best day to do something outside for the next few days. Rains turning into snow is forecasted for the weekend and Monday with highs below freezing. I'm not looking forward to crummy winter weather but hey, it's that time of year. o_O

Dark and gloomy with a light rain falling. It is so dark that I slept almost an hour later than normal. Now I feel like a slug. Currently it is 47° and .17" has fallen. The forecast is calling for a high today of 49° with the rain leaving the area in a couple of hours. It is to become windy to the extent that a wind alert has been issued. The moisture is predicted to return late Sunday and into Monday as snow.

yeah snowing almost non stop, the winds and everything made it scary, no one is driving on the roads either. Bewear olbrair to stock up on firewood.
I don't have a fireplace but I appreciate the thought. I invested in some portable heat a couple of years ago when I lost power for a couple of days in the dead of winter. I had a couple of portable LP heaters in storage that were left over from work. One heater was notorious for fuming and had to be used in a well vented area. The one I tried to use refused to stay lit after being stored for a couple of decades. I ultimately bought this.

I had to keep my home warm to keep my parrot alive. The heater worked great. I lost an albino cockatiel many years ago due to no heat. I didn't want to lose another buddy.

I had to run to Wichita late this morning to take some spokes to the bike shop where I do business. When my weather app warned of high winds, it wasn't kidding. The wind was pushing cars all over the road. My commute took me through a new business area that has multiple constructions sites in progress. I had to smile as I passed them. All of the port-a-pots were laying on their sides. The terrible wind has created a terrible chore for someone. My weather station logged a max gust at 78.7mph.

My sister has a fake fireplace for her living room to keep it warm, really works wonderful, my buddy has a few heaters too, my mother purchased them with him a few weeks ago.
