Currently it is 26° with a predicted high of 45° this afternoon. It is to be windy from the South and it's currently blowing in the low teens.
Forget that meteor shower: I stepped out on the deck at 5 AM and it was 10 degrees. The starry sky was gorgeous: good thing it didn't take long for me to behold it!
It was above freezing this morning for a pleasant change. A nice day on the eve of a warming trend has me excited. I might just get to ride my bike. 
Currently it is 37° with a high predicted of 49°. Naturally, it doesn't warm up around here without the wind ramping up. Oh well. A few days in the forties and fifties will be a welcomed break.

It was nice here today. There was fog early.. and I do mean early.. but it burned of soon after sunrise. It warmed up nicely this afternoon. I logged a high of 59° but around 4 PM the wind reared it's ugly head. I logged a 44mph gust this afternoon. The wind is just the prelude for tomorrow's wind that has the area under a wind/fire warning. I don't anticipate any fires but the wind is a given. It is supposed to get into the low fifties tomorrow so there's that.
It seems that a nice day is in the making. However, my weather app has a lot of wind predicted. So far it isn't crazy windy out but sometime since midnight a 71mph gust was logged by my weather station and my wife said it woke her up. I'm deaf without my aids which is sometimes a blessing. Fifty three degrees is the predicted high for today with winds in the mid twenty mile per hour range from the SW.

Temp is 57°, according to the NOAA, but they're at the airport, not here. My old thermometer says it's roughly 55° here.

That brought the thermometer that was mounted on my back porch when I bought the place in 1973 to mind. It remains.. it's part of the house.
With just a trace of wind from the SSE this morning, it is 28°. It is to warm into the mid fifties and once again be windy. At least it isn't supposed to be tree pruning velocities this afternoon.

So far this year, the weather has been jumping back and forth in temperatures and wind direction. To the point that everyone has the sniffles to suffering from bad colds. Today the high is to reach the low fifties like yesterday with a little less wind. My wife pointed out that Christmas day the high is to be 72°. Whaaaat? Instead of baked turkey or ham, I'll be on the patio in my shorts and T-shirt grill burgers and dogs for the family.
