Root Whats this?

Yes, it works (from time to time). That's where a lot of the leaks come from. I STRONGLY SUGGEST NOT DOING IT!!! Since they are leaks they are not official versions of ICS. Doing this could leave you off of the upgrade path forever. It does void your warranty and there is no guarantee that all the functions even work correctly.

Thanks for the advice.
Im just growing more and more impatient with every day with no ics update, so im trying to look at an alternative means to support my habit.
Ill just have to stick head in dirt waiting on 4.0.4 official, or maybe 5.0 Jelly Bean might be available before.

Sage advice right there....

HOWEVER....

6.16.209 is running rock solid and stable for me and many others. And Matt at droidrzr forums has found a way to get everyone back on the upgrade path when it comes. That is if .209 isn't the official OTA anyway. Those that were forever stuck on .84 and .85 have all been able to upgrade to .209 now, and the method will work for future leaks/OTA. You will NOT ever be able to go back to GB though, but once the official OTA is out, you won't be able to anyway.

ICS is worth it in my opinion.
