So I just got an Samsung Captivate Gallaxy S on AT&T.

I'm new to Android.

Previously had iphones 3g then 3gs then the iphone 4. I gave my wife my iphone 4 cause I wanted to try something new. Therefore I'm now on Andriod. So far I really like it. Just joined up to learn some new tips and tricks to make my phone better than the iphone. (had jailbroken all of my previous iphones, but not rooted the andriod yet)

Welcome to Android, I'm sure you'll love it! and rooting isn't nearly as hard as it may seem, but I recommend waiting on that one until you learn a bit more about the Android OS before doing it, because it can do some real damage to your phone

Thanks guys. I've been doing a bit of research on here and a few other websites, and I am going to wait to root it till I get the hang of it.
