What's wrong with this phone?

Yesterday I was using the phone and it was ok, certainly not great. Today it's hardly doing anything. Firefox Focus timed out more than once and youtube is just going around and around, "recognizing" voice commands but not doing anything useful. It's a ZTE Z815 with only 8 gb and 1 gb of RAM. It's been a pain for some time. The sd card has a lot on it but still less than half full. It's 32 gb, the biggest the phone could handle. What can I do?

Sounds to me more like a connection problem than memory. Do you have a solid Wifi connection?

It's from, God help me, walmart. It cost maybe $27 and that includes the case. The sd card I think is Sandisk and it's 32 gb. It's data, not wifi.

Okay. With many budget phones/plans after you reach a certain data threshold they throttle your connection until the next billing period. Could be that's why everything has slowed down for you.

Well guess what. It turns out their "bridge payment" is no such thing. If I gave them more than half I should have had seven days to pay the rest. Instead I had to come up with the remainder only two days later. Cricket actually believes that we're going to refer anyone else?! They must be out of their minds, if they have any. They've also discontinued their "rewards" program, such as it is. I still haven't "earned" enough points for a measly twentyfive dollar gift card. I'm sorry for the rant, but they're enough to try the patience of a saint. Anyway, at least the problem has been solved, and thanks for all your help.

Try using Chrome instead of Firefox.

Actually try Samsung Internet Beta instead of those two suggested, you won't be disappointed at all..
