Help Whats you battery life like?

How long does your battery life last and what do you usually do on your phone daily? Since installing Juice Defender my battery doesnt decrease when its on standby. I can almost always get atleast 18 hours out of it on one charge.

well i've experiment with my battery i've managed to preserve it for 52 hours and plugged it in on 15% but i did nothing but few phone calls with 3g and WiFi switched on for few minutes.
On a routine use 3g on most of the time and some gaming it can last for 18-22 hours more or less.
Now with a hard work to discharge the battery i've done it in 10 hours with 3g on and watching movies and playing. (trip across Europe helped :p)
The phone its only rooted without any app for battery preservation. sometime i'm going to try a whole battery drain with setCPU it might go more than 50 i guess

Well, this depends on the Rom, Kernel and Modem you running. Everything is possible. I had everything from 6 to 65 hours...

That's true.. I have flashed almost all the GB firmwares and found that it just managed to drain the battery.. Nothing new in GB apart from some visual changes to appeal to your senses.. My phone is not rooted and was contemplation on installing custom roms on my XXJPY (2.2.1) ... Any suggestions on Rom's......Any fast battery efficient stable roms out there?? Also a guide on how to install it would be wonderful...

my baterry life is not so long...maybe it take for 15 to 20 hours only...
how i want to make my bettery can use for long hours... what application that can strongly drain our baterry?

My battery was at 96% about 6 hours ago. Ive been using it since then and the screen has been ON for 4 hours 15 minutes and my battery is now 20%. In this time, i have played fruit slice and drop for close to an hour, sickepedia for over 30 minutes, market for about 15 minutes and a few other apps.

Question: after receiving the "battery is fully charged"....is it harmful to leave the A/C power on the phone? Does it necessarily shorten the overall battery life??

I shouldnt think it will damage the battery in any way, the os is pretty clever at keeping the battery safe.
I had mine plugged in in the car to use satnav the other day and it was a hot day and it came up with the warning that it was stopping charging because the battery was getting to warm.
I plug mine in every night and leave it on charge while i sleep and the battery lasts the same as it always has done

Depends on the usage. Wifi only with not much tampering - 2-3 days.

3G and doing 100 things at once - one day, tops.

Must say, battery life did improve with Gingerbread.

2-3 days Robogo? If i have wifi on and i go on the interet, i will lose about 2% every 5 minutes. And my display is only on for around 4 hours when my battery gets below 15%

mine last's for about a day useing alot but not all day with 3g and wifi and phone calls but if wifi is on i lose 2% every five mins

Has anyone else noticed this? My battery is at 50% right now, but the battery icon on the top right of the notification bar still has about 75% blue left. And it only starts going dark on one side when it goes below 80%

Well, I got the impression from my SGS it could easily last 2 days if I do not touch it that often. Check e-mail, answer a call or two, send a text and that's it. But I also must say I don't have many of the preinstalled apps which run in the background by default. Hell, I even removed Maps. Also, I'm on 2.3.3 with a custom kernel.

On the other hand, if I use it on 3G and do a lot of things at once, I don't think it would live longer than 6-7 hours.

seraj12, you should install Watchdog and check which apps or Android processes eat up your battery.

Yeah.......mine does the same thing too.

My battery lasts 3 days,

daily usage pattern

3-4 calls
15 mins of wifi
10 mins of HSDPA(when outside)
Gps is used occasionally
