Whats your favorite Android FPS game?

lets get a fact straight first..you can redownload a gameloft game if you've purchased it. why gameloft's fps games are far superior is their control customization. you can move any of the buttons around the screen to a layout you like. cod black pegasus is probably the best fps for any touch system, by far....

I don't think FPS on a touchscreen are all that bad, if you consider it just a game and not a sim, with the auto aim on like in NOVA it all is pretty smooth actually. I have a 4" screen, maybe smaller is worse, I'd love 5" that might be perfect. NOVA is super-fat, I didn't warm up to the controls or the story for a while, I put it down for a long time actually with the thought of touchscreen controls being horrible, I didn't get past the first level before feeling I wasted $5. But later I gave it another shot, played the multi-player maps alone so I could tweak the controls and get used to how everything was set up, and now I love the game, it is HALO for my phone, basically. Which is so cool.

I like Brothers in Arms 2 a lot, it has entertaining, set piece battles which I actually like a lot, I find these kind of like Galaga, you figure out what the AI does and try and get the best result. I'm almost done, but I like to go back and play through a level here and there, it is good as a mobile game for that and it also has a third-person fire from cover feature, which makes it maybe work on the handset better, it gives a lot of feeling of different perspectives, with this, machine guns, tanks. With cinematic cutscenes, good graphics, decent controls (though you can't customize them), and the WW2 theme it fit what I was looking for in a mobile FPS probably the most so far. I like WW2 killing Nazis moreso than 'terrorists' or 'aliens'.

Having spent hours looking for the best FPS I'd have to agree Gameloft did a phenomenal job copying the graphics of Call of Duty. My jaw literally dropped when I saw the video game play of this game.

Seeing how Dead Space is available in one country and on one device I wouldn't really put that up for consideration.

I personally like MC2: Black Pegasus. I haven't had the chance to play NOVA 2, Brothers in Arms, Dead Space or Bad Company 2 though.

The question was what your favorite "Android" FPS game is, not what your favorite pc FPS game is.

I would also have to say Nova 2 is currently my favorite, but they leave a lot to be desired.

Lol it is rather funny seeing people get bent out of shape over free games. And to say they are copies of other games and rip offs. So let me see, you would rather have the original game companies make the game and sell it for 12 bucks? Or take the FREE ''rip off''.

That aside, Gameloft is the only company on android market that has any good games. I spent the better half of my night just trying to find a suitable RPG game. Each time none fit my taste, but the better of the batch has been from Gameloft. For now.

But to answer the topic question. Mine has to be Brother in arms 2 free.

I have Nova and MC3 and like them both. Like you guys said, they are both hard to play on touchscreen. I'm waiting for ICS, so I can root and use my PS3 controller. I have six guns too if that counts, but its buggy as crap. Constantly crashing.
