Many of us have experienced the desire to NOT see Play Store updates for specific apps, for various reasons. Although Titanium Backup Pro (TIBU) has the feature to remove an app's market link, it was broken by Google's recent switch to the Play Store. TIBU support just told me they can't fix it until such time as Google cooperates on their end. Good luck with that! It's like waiting for Verizon to root your phone.
So.....
What are your favorite (and SAFE) NON-Play Store sources for apps? I want to find an alternative to TouchPal keyboard that does NOT have any link to the Play Store. TouchPal 5 just isn't for me, and I'm tired of being shown the update while I run ver. 4.8
Most of the "side loading" app sources I find searching on the net are simply disguised links right back to the Play Store.
