I have latest WhatsApp on Note 3 .. and Tab S2 .. Lollipop
BUG:
if you are recording a voice message .. imagine it might be long with much effort or details and/or emotions ..
AND if you get an incoming regular call (and also WhatsApp call or Facebook Messenger call or I think other alike interruption) or an on screen alert by some applications the message will be discarded!!

what is your solution?
all the recording time .. effort .. all wasted .. this is really bad .. because also future messages you are recording in fear to make them long .. as they can get interrupted at anyytime by a call! workaround for now: go into airplane mode to prevent such interuption ..
solution:
one possible solution is to let the user continue recording or send or discard after interruption ..
or if you are using an audio recording program to record a .mp3 and send that ..
we should expect more from a $19,000,000,000 company .. I hope they will fix it ..
