Whatsapp error + google market error on HTC using Android

[Stadsmonnik]

"This version of whatsapp is too old and no longer functions. PLease go to google play to download the latest version."

is the error Ive been getting for the past 2 days on whatsapp.
deze error krijg ik als ik whatsapp open.

When I click download google play opens and immediately shuts down again: "de app google play (proces.com.android.vending) is onverwachts gestopt. Probeer het opnieuw."

Ive had that error before and found out that I have to delete all updates which removes the error. When thats done I can donwload the whatsapp update BUT to install it opens google play again and the google play error keeps showing up.

I have a windows HTC onwhich U installed Android.

What to do?
Anybody???
