I'm having issues with WhatsApp that their FAQ doesn't seem to solve nor am I able to find any information online about it.
I'll be in a conversation and the other user will be Online and chatting away but then after he has gone offline it will occasionally say "Last Seen at whenever" and will remain on this for hours at a time despite being on and offline during this. Any messages I send to him are received by him but will only display one tick for myself (the sent to server but not received by their phone indicator). I'll then get, many hours later, a huge collection of messages sent by them all timestamped the same and any previous messages I've sent timestamped as received/read at the same time as the other user's replies. This is happening on both mobile data and wi-fi and most other threads about this seem to be stuck on the issue of mobile data alone with functional wi-fi use. I've tried all solutions listed on the WhatsApp FAQ and they sent a rather useless response about "Privacy" settings when emailled.
Has anyone encountered this and, hopefully, a fix?
