Why i cant sent or receive messages on whats app??plz help me

Other Internet connections working correctly? You've not blocked some permissions? Was it working before, or has it never worked? If it was working and has stopped, what changed before this happened (including system and app updates)?
All we know at the moment is "it doesn't work", which is very little to go on. So the more you can tell us the more chance someone will be able to help.

I have the same problem. Internet connections etc are all working. I can send and receive with sms, and also Wechat. But everytime I try to send a whatsapp I get the clock icon, not the one or two ticks. And I am not receiving Whatsapp messages that have been sent.
Everything was working OK up to about a week ago and I have not installed any new apps. If I reboot and re-install whatsapp it works OK for about 8 hours (a working day or less) and then goes faulty again.
I am using Andrioid version 6.0, on an Elephone P9000 Lite. I also scanned my phone for any virus but it came out clean.
Any ideas to help please? Thanks!
