When are we getting Gingerbread?

[NunyaBidnez]

Is it Q4 yet? Any rumors on when Google will bake up some sweet Gingerbread for my N1?

I would guess it will be much closer to a Christmas release - back half of the quarter...

yeah basically everything we experienced with Froyo...we'll experience again with Gingerbread

Unlike other Android phones, N1 owners don't necessarily have to wait for an official release of Gingerbread. If it's anything like Froyo, we should be able to download a leaked version from Google months before the official release becomes available.
