When closing browser, how do I make it start up next time WITHOUT pages I visited?

I want all browser pages to close permanently when I close out of the browser app. I go to recent apps, close my browser out completely, yet when I open it fresh it still goes the the last web pages I visited. If I go the the home screen while browsing, I realize the browser is still open in the background and I want the pages to stay alive, but when I actually close the browser app, I want it to start with the home page next time.
How do I do this?

You would have to end the task. Android isn't very aggressive with ending tasks. I could load a page up in the morning and it will still be loaded in the memory if I go to look at it that night. This is why the task switcher button can get a bit laggy, and also has something to do with caching the images.

I just pull up the tab view and swipe away my tabs when I'm done with them or want to exit the browser.

I realize I could swipe away or close each individual page tab, but I want it to be automatic. Why they didn't include that feature in the settings is beyond me. Any PC web browser that re-opens web page tabs gives you the option to not have it do that.

keep pressing the back button. till the browser is closed.
next time you open it . will start at your home page, what ever that is.

I'm not saying what you want isn't valid, only suggesting something that doesn't involve punching the back button two hundred times.

the easiest way is to hit the new window tab (3 horizontal lines next to the 3 dot menu), then X out of the current page(s). i personally hate this behavior and wish the browser could be set to open to the homepage by default, but closing each tab from the new page menu is the only way i could find to make sure it does it.

As a workaround, you could always launch the browser with a bookmark of the page that you want to start on...
