just getting people's guessesYou can't seriously be expecting anything but different speculative guesses...
Two things you can count on for sure: Samsung will NOT make another Nexus phone and Verizon will NOT carry another Nexus phone. They both hate it.
As a consumer myself, I don't really care about pure Android or not pure Android. I never root my phone and I never put on any custom ROM, just like tens of millions of consumers out there. The argument about fast upgrade is really moot point when the majority of the consumers will change phone in less than 2 years.
Nexus phone caters to just a small number of techies, and it is not profitable to the manufacturer and the carrier. They are for-profit organizations and they are not going to do anything that is not profitable.
i thought the phone did really well, every one seemed to like it for the most partAfter the debacle that was the galaxy nexus, i wouldn't count on Verizon getting another nexus device. If they do, it will be months after another carrier has had it exclusively at launch (like Sprint with their gnex.)
