Help When I Call People They Cannot Hear Me- Help??

I've tried calling several people and non of them can hear me. I haven't installed any new apps lately, and I'm using android 2.2.1. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
 
Hello and welcome aboard. If that is the case you might have a defective phone. You may need to "reset" it to its default state.
