Root is not required to install or uninstall apps through ADB. It should still work since you installed the app yourself, worth a try atleast. But since the phone's not rooted (which I don't do any more), would that even work?
Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.

Yes, for such (not computers): https://www.google.com/search?q=Not...AUIESgC&biw=1366&bih=614#imgrc=nmJRgMSauXyzBM:"Notizbuch" is German for "Notebook" - a plausible name, but the sort of thing I'd expect to recognise if I'd installed it.
Strangely, the ads stay off since some time without me doing anything for this. So I cannot check it, but if the ads are gone...I can't guarantee that it's one of those, but I'd think logically that that permission would be needed to place full-screen ads other than when the app is running itself.
If you're sure about that, you may want to, 1) post a review on its Play Store page so others know about it, and, 2) contact its developer directly to complain.Found that trashy spam app causing the full screen spam ads all the time, it is "GM Dateimanager": https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.generalmobile.app.gmfilemanager&hl=de
You don't have an account where? You linked to the app's Play Store page, so I assumed that's where you got it.Yes, but I do not have an account there.
Well, Google apparently doesn't know--but definitely should. If you don't want to contact the developer, then file a complaint with Google instead. And contacting the person causing the apps, I am not sure, because of him I had some effort and I guess he knows what he does.
At Google Play, I would say.You don't have an account where?
Yes yes, very correct assumption, indeed. You linked to the app's Play Store page, so I assumed that's where you got it.
Without registering? How?If you're able to install from Play, you're able to write a review there.
Well, I am wondering why there obviously are no complaints (if there are not) and 4,4 stars for such a spam app.Well, Google apparently doesn't know--but definitely should. If you don't want to contact the developer, then file a complaint with Google instead.

To the best of my knowledge, you can't install apps from the Play Store unless you have a Google (Gmail) account. If this is incorrect, someone please enlighten me! And it's by virtue of having that account that you can write reviews. At Google Play, I would say.
As I said, if you're sure that app is the source of the problem, you should say so in a review, etc. The fact that you're not seeing anyone else complaining about it, and its rating is high, suggest to me that it may not actually be the source of your problem. If others were experiencing what you were, they'd most likely speak up!Well, I am wondering why there obviously are no complaints (if there are not) and 4,4 stars for such a spam app.
Well, as I never have registered with my phone or logged in to download from Google, I would say there is no need to register. If this is incorrect, someone please enlighten me!
Yes, very strange. Since I removed that app the spam ads are not shown anymore at least. The fact that you're not seeing anyone else complaining about it, and its rating is high, suggest to me that it may not actually be the source of your problem.
