Help When I press home, I get the lock pattern screen

Hi guys,

I'm on the Verizon Galaxy S.

So I've noticed that at times when I'm working in an app, then I press the home button, I'm presented with the lock pattern screen. Any Idea why this would be? The phone should just lock after a certain period of time right? Not let me in for a while and decide to lock when I hit home.

Can someone learn me on this?

Do you use a custom ROM? Or did you ever used some apps which claims to change the function of the buttons and touches?
This might be somebody's tweak, he might think that it would be cool but you think it's a mistake? Maybe?

Wow, thanks. It was actually a program I installed when I first got the phone. It was called "No Lock". I don't use it, once I uninstalled, the phone acts as it should. Thanks for kick starting my brain.
