Help When is Jelly Bean 4.1 coming for N7000 Note?

I've been back in the States for over a month now, brought my international version Galaxy Note (GT N7000) with me. Still on ICS 4.0.3, been that way thru my whole deployment in Afghanistan.

I'm patiently waiting for the promised Jelly Bean update, either thru Kies or OTA. Since it's still unlocked and not on contract, I shoukd receive the update sooner, right?

At the present moment, Android 4.0.4 is the latest version. JB probably won't appear until January(much later for those that are carrier locked).

Latest official is "early" january for german non carrier locked.

Resurrecting this topic, cause I just got my OTA (Samsung official) update for Jelly Bean 4.1 on my N7000 Galaxy Note today!! It's an int'l version Unlocked, in the U.S., without a data plan... just using it with WiFi for now while I look for options. Will take it for a full test drive when update is complete. Over 550 MBs of updates!
