When Is The Rezound Considered "Asleep"?

Dumb question - is the Rezound considered asleep when the display goes off or is there something more?

I hear people talking about certain bloatware that prevents their phone fromn sleeping and it has me wondering when my phone is considered "sleeping or "awake".

It's alseep when it's out of batteries!!
I don't like my day job. Lately it's 8 am to 8 pm with no overtime pay.

To find out what's using the battery, go to Settings - About Phone - Battery - Battery Use (and these are the major battery/power users; everything else is less than 1% or is negligible)



edit: Also go to Settings - Applications - Running Services... and there they are running in the background once in a while.
