What's the best time to buy the LG Esteem? Will they be cheaper right-around Christmas? Or should I buy it now with the MIR of $00?

Hmmm good question. I'm waiting n hoping for reduced price also - tho I've really been tempted to get it from all the great post I keep reading about. And that oh so much bigger screen - hmmm.

Are they still having the rebate of $50??

im definately gonna wait until it is rooted with a custom recovery and a rom...overclock...yeah all that cool stuff by that time it should be reduced lol

It's already rooted and everything else is being worked on as we speak.

damn that was fast...i might be buying it sooner than i thought then lol. I assumed it would take awhile since lg has gotten good at patching roots. I underestimated the devs i guess. props to them!!
