When will I get my Rezound??

Ok guys and gals, I have a little game that I want to play! I know none of you care whatsoever about this, but entertain me!

I purchased a used Rezound from a highly rated eBay user. Here are the details of the shipment.

Seller lives in Hawaii.
I live in San Diego, California.
He shipped USPS Priority Mail Insured.
He shipped the phone off on Saturday 12/31/11.
USPS claims Priority Mail usually delivers within 2 business days, sometimes 3.
USPS was closed on Sunday 1/1/12 and Monday 1/2/12.
Even when closed, packages still "move".

Based on that info, do you think I might get my phone today? Or tomorrow or Friday?

oooooh nice fun game.... Please post the tracking number and tell us if you'll be at home to sign for it when it arrives. (If not, then we'll have to add one extra day because you'll have to go to the post office:))

I unfortunately don't have a tracking number, he just did insurance.

I'm actually not sure if it's going to require a signature.
 
hmm... insurance for an item over $200 may automatically require a signature. uh oh we need you to be standing at your front door now in case it's already here today. If you're not there and they don't paste a note on your door today, then you've gotta call in sick tomorrow to wait for it ha ha!!! And call in sick Friday too because there's a "i can't put this phone down" thread here on this website!! :)

You should add 1 to the pole.

What condition will show up in?
I also don't understand your lack of excitement? I would have taken today, tomorrow and friday off! LOL:D
 
Remember... tomorrow and Friday... call in sick... you have fever.... severe Rezound fever... (no cure... too bad...)

Put a sign on the door that says "Ring doorbell 10 times - yes i am at home and will sign for the package!!" :D

Haha, you were right!

I didn't take your advice and call in sick, so they attempted a delivery and it required a signature!

So now the note that they left says I can pick it up anytime after 9am tomorrow.

I'm bummed but it is what it is.

Is there any way I can pick it up tonight? I don't understand why I have to wait until the morning. :(
 
Probably because it's still out on the truck that tried to deliver it and there is no telling when they will get back to the post office/center.
 
ha ha ... that's ok ... It'll probably be back in the post office by 3 or 4 pm. Looks like you're going there later today about 30 minutes before they close!! Have you started counting how many hours/minutes before you get to see your Rezound ?? :D
 
I'm lucky I live in a small town. Mine was shipped Fedex and I missed him at my house by about 10 minutes. So, I called Fedex and they contacted the driver, who in turn contacted me. He told me that route he was taking, and I took off in search of him. Found him in about 10 minutes and got my phone!!

LOL..way to chase your phone down. Congratulations!
 
**UPDATE** I also chased down my phone!! LOL.

Yesterday I took a trip home around 12:30pm to let my dogs out (I live close to work) and I ran into my mail man delivering to other houses in the neighborhood. He knows me very well so he pulled the package out and gave it to me. I was stoked!

The phone had the extended battery on it and it was pretty much dead. I charged it and it took forever! Does the extended battery really take that long to charge?

Either way, I LOVE this phone so far! It's everything that I was asking for. And this extended battery is a tank! I was only able to charge it to 98% before I had to leave last night and I am going on 12 hours off the charger and it's still at 71%.

I'm a happy camper! :D
