Anyone know how long it usually takes for Virgin to run a sale on their new phones? (that existing customers can use)

I signed up on this forum for the email notice when it goes on sale. Don't know if that works or not.

A lot of VM phones seem to go on sale as quick as one month after release. That said, you can probably guarantee it will be on sale on Black Friday (122 days from now). Depends on how much you are trying to save and how long you want to wait.
 
Amazon had it for 154 then it went up to 166 yesterday. Missed the 154 price so will wait a little bit to see if it goes down again.

Ok at 162 and change on 8/3 going down. Maybe wait a little longer i,m cheap :-} but if i wait too long well you know the answer to that.

I didn't think about buying it somewhere else. If I buy the Virgin model somewhere other than Virgin, I can still transfer my Phone# right? Any disadvantages of buying somewhere else other than Virgin website?

Everything is the same, just buy from a reputable store.

Swapping is all done online at virgin mobile (under swap phone), and then pretty much automatically on the phone itself, on newer phones at least.
 
Amazon 13 tax 5 and change to ship but free for me as i am a prime member. so 162 total. had gift cards so i only spent 80 dollars cash. :-)
 
I got it for $163. Saw your price and was going to cancel an reorder, but just now checked. It is $160 now, not worth canceling for $3. I ordered on Friday night.
 
I picked mine up from VM with my account balance from cheap eBay topups. Was cheap with no tax, and VM does free overnight shipping.
 
My phone says it's out for delivery...isn't work over yet... LOL
I got mine from Amazon $160, with tax and shipping $169.
