When will they be released and what's up with the ones for sale on Ebay?

I have been waiting for this phone since February. I can't wait until it becomes available in the US. I saw that a CAT representative was here answering question on the battery drain problem. Maybe they can chime in here on when it will be released in the US.

Also what's up with the ones for sale on Ebay? I asked the seller if they were the US version and he said yes. So how is that possible? I would of bought the one on Ebay, but I do not think they are the US version.

Also does anyone know anymore about the bands and channels? Are the ROW and North American version of the phones the same and the SIM card tells the phone which bands and channels to use? Or do the ROW and NA version have only the bands that are listed?
 
The ones on Fleabay are knock-off possibly. CAT products are frequently counterfeited. Like buying a Gucci or something from Fleabay, only buy from reputable authorized dealers

According to the official specs listed on their website, the ROW and NA versions support different bands. They list the bands that are supported.
 
The ones on EBAY are international versions, which are readily available in the UK.

The US model was shipped on Friday to early pre-oreders'. I got mine this morning from UPS. Great phone, actually really like that it came with a screen protector. And so far signal is 10-15 db stronger then with my Sony. Very happy so far. Keep an eye on your pre-order at Expansys website, not CAT's. There is more info there.

Wow congratulations on getting your phone. I just ordered mine after reading that they have started to ship. I too ordered from Expansys. Can't wait!
