Help where are my emojis?

I have the Galaxy s4 through Verizon and I'm wondering if somebody can help me to unlock the emojis on my keyboard so I can have the easy access button to get to them when I want them any help is greatly appreciated thank you!!!

if you long press the microphone key on the keyboard then the smilley face and it should show up...

I'm assuming you are talking about the stock Samsung keyboard. I suggest you try downloading SwiftKey. It's an amazing keyboard with great text prediction and emoji built in.
