Help Where are my G. Play movies stored ? - Newbee

HI:

I have a month old Samsung S7 running 6.0.1. I've downloaded several movies from Google Play to the [ presumably ] sd card. Can't find them despite looking HERE on phone & sd: /storage/sdcard/Android/data/com.google.videos/Files/Movies. Just found more folders with .exo, .stbim files. No .wvm files. File explorer search for .wvm or title - nada. I can play these movies without internet connection. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you!

D

I think you still access them through the play movies app. Downloading for offline viewing won't give you a physical copy of the movie that you could burn to a DVD, etc.

If you open the play movies app, hit the menu button on the top left and tick the "downloaded only" option, it should show you your downloaded movies.
