Where are my lock screen notes stored?

I've searched hi and low for the answer(s). I took a note on the lock screen but can't find it.

Also, is there a 'default' note app? I presume samsung notes... but can I install a 3rd party app and make that the default for handwritten notes?

Finally it's not immediately apparent how to do handwriting to text conversion.

samsung notes is where any notes are stored.

not sure never used any other note app.....never saw a reason to look.

edit: have not really played around with it yet, but take your s pen and create a note. find the three dots and select open in samsung note. from there at the bottom there is an option to convert to text.

I tried the writing to text. Apparently my handwriting is horrible because the translation was horrible...

mine is not too bad. you will have to adjust your handwriting a bit, that';s what i had to do to make most of the translation work.
