Where are you buying phone

Where did you get your l9 phone and are you on a contract or no-contract? I'm just curious what services and where you bought it from!

Are the phones at Walmart & Best Buy the same for no-contract?

Thnx.

I got my T-Mobile Optimus L9 at Target and am on the $30 unlimited text/data prepaid plan, which I activated on the T-mobile web site, using the activation stuff that came with the phone. And I usually buy my top up cards at CallingMart.com.

MetroPCS. If you're a new customer, it'll run you $119 (after $30 mail-in-rebate). If you're an existing customer, it'll cost you about $175 after taxes, upgrade fee, etc.

The benefit you get is lower monthly bills for the same T-Mobile service. All fees are included in the price. For example, the $50 no-contract unlimited talk/text and 2.5 GB 4G data plan has all taxes and fees included. You simply pay $50 on your due date.

So, basically, you get everything for cheaper, but with the same coverage and service. It's the exact same P769 as the T-Mo version with a newer version of Android (JB 4.1.2), and it doesn't have any carrier branding on it. Unless you're loyal to another company, or have contractual ties, you really can't lose if you get the "MetroPCS" version of the L9.

I've never looked into MetroPC, I'll keep it in mind when I'm ready to switch carrier in Dec. Their phone is cheaper also then the average of $199.

Thnx.

Yeah, I was... That was in another life, I suppose. ;)

I worked on CM7, and put out the MIUI ROM. I really miss using MIUI. It's a nice ROM.
