Where do I get a unlocked G1?

I want to get a unlocked G1 and use my iPhone 3G's O2 SIM card inside it, but when I search for unlocked G1s on Google, the sites look badly made (so could very easily be run by scammers).

So, apart from buying a dev phone, is there any other way to get a unlocked G1 thats tried and tested?
