Where do you find custom boot screens?

Android Expert
Currently running FreshROM1.1 and looking for more bootscreens. The NexusOne is easy to find, it's everywhere, but other ones I'm having trouble locating.

Best I could do was this thread on the alldroid forums.

I also want to learn how to make them. Having that Jessica Alba dancing gif from 'Sin City' would be...nice ;)

Look at forum.xda-developers.com

Just in case you didn't know, I'm pretty sure any android bootscreen will work with any phone. Check the file type first....

However it may not look right based on your screen size and res.

excellent! I'm running a Hero.

Thx carlz for the link, thats exactly what I was looking for. So those should work for the Hero?

Why not just push the file via fastboot? the command i think is

ADB push (boot screen) /system/media/bootscreen
Or maybe it's /system/media/
I don't remember I haven't swapped out a bootscreen in ages.

Make a fastboot though I'm not sure if this works or not.
