where does tools icon go when removed

Was learning how to move shortcuts around and apps and moved the tools icon from my home screen. I thought it would go on another page when dragged to remove. I can not find it and where did it go. How do I restore tools?

The icon (which is just a shortcut) doesn't go anywhere, it was deleted. Long-press the screen. Press Apps. Look for Tools. Press it. You'll get the icon on the screen.

Or you could find Tools in the app drawer, then long-press it and drag it to a screen.
