Yesterday I was playing around in the contacts section of the phone and I synced it to my google account or at least it said it did (uploaded and stuff) but today Im on my pc and on google and Im not finding them. Where exactly would I need to look to find this info?

You'll need to check to see if your contacts are Google contacts before they'll sync to the cloud.

Were they transferred from a previous phone/SIM? If yes, they most likely won't be Google contacts unfortunately and aren't backed up anywhere.

I'll link you to the process for converting to Google contacts when I can get to a PC. :)

1. Disconnect the phone from the PC
2. Open The Phone Book
3. Hit Menu (or the the 3 Dot thing)
4. Import/Export
5. Export to SD
6. Select PHONE or SIM account (dependant on where you store your numbers)
7. Wait for the .vcf file to be created (it should be created on the root of the SD Card, not in any folders).
8. Connect the phone to the PC as a Disk Drive
9. Copy the .vcf file you just created on to the desktop of your PC.
10. Unmount/Disconnect the phone from the PC
11. Log into the gmail account associated with the phone in your browser
12. Hit Contacts (in the top left hand side of the page)
13. More Actions
14. Import
15. Select the file you've just copied to your PC, let it upload
16. Click Contacts again, you should see the contacts from your phone listed.
17. Perform a Sync on your phone, it will download the contacts to your phone again so you'll end up with a few duplicates, but after your phone sorts itself out, then they'll link themselves.

The above worked on Gingerbread and Sense 2.x. The only part of the process which might be slightly different is steps 1 to 6. I'm not using the Stock ROM at the moment, and I know the process is slightly different on the ROM I'm currently using so I can't re-write for you. :o

Very cool, I didnt even have to hook it up to pc. I emailed the file to myself and gmail recognizes it and you can add it from there.
