Help Where Has Google Gone?

Whenever I use Marks and Spencer's free Wi-Fi with my Nexus 7 tablet I get a message saying "Unfortunately Google has stopped". Very frustrating. Anyone have an answer? Thank you.
 
Does it still work normally? Its just the google search app shutting off. It should start right back up. If it still works fine I wouldn't call that "very frustrating". More like " slightly irritating". Lol. Or "mildly curious".
 
Thanks for your reply. The Google search app does not work at all when I use it in M & S no matter how many times I try to connect to it. Works fine everywhere else. The frustration comes from not knowing why this only happens in M & S😬
 
After joining some public WiFi hotspots, you need to "log in" to the network and accept their terms. Perhaps this could be part of your issue?

I did accept the terms and conditions when I signed up, and haven't been asked to do so again, so it can't be that. I have found a workaround but it is a pain and has to be done each time I use the store's wi-fi.
Clear the data in Google Search, reinstall Google Now. Thanks for your reply.
